Easy, warm family photos by the sea

Perth's beaches face west over the Indian Ocean, so the hour before sunset brings soft, golden light right along the shoreline. That's when these relaxed family sessions happen: a walk on the sand, a paddle at the water's edge, piggybacks, cuddles and plenty of laughing.

Cottesloe and Scarborough are two suggested spots, or tell me your family's favourite beach and we'll plan around it. No stiff posing, no pressure, just time together with someone quietly capturing it.

What to expect

Three easy steps

  1. Check my date

    Send your preferred dates and beach. I'll confirm availability and the golden-hour timing for that evening.

  2. Play at golden hour

    We meet on the sand and keep it relaxed. Games, walks and gentle prompts, with kids (and dogs) welcome to be themselves.

  3. Get your gallery

    Your photos arrive in an online gallery with unlimited printable downloads and free unlimited sharing with everyone who matters.

What to wear

Coordinate, don't match

  • Choose 3–4 soft colours and mix them across the family.
  • Light, flowing fabrics move beautifully in the sea breeze.
  • Avoid big logos and neon. Gentle textures and small patterns work well.
  • Bare feet are perfect on the sand, so bring a towel for afterwards.
